Subjective health experience in the workplace and the possibility of negative health consequences stemming from exposure to work environment factors among both employees and employers are subjects which have not yet been popularized or thoroughly discussed in the work organization process. According to various analyses, the employees’ health is directly related to the impact of work environment factors on the human organism. This article discusses issues connected with the presence of and exposure to health environment factors and their negative influence on the employees’ health. It draws attention to problems related to identification of harmful and hazardous environmental factors in the work process as well as to prophylaxis and, among others, the necessity to inform employees about the risk of negative health consequences
